Dear Principal(s),
Following the meeting regarding DAV sports activities for 2026,
it has been proposed to organize the
'Run for DAV' event on
02.10.2026. The event may include the categories:
21 km (Half Marathon), 10 km Run, 5 km Run, and
2 km (Run for Fun).
Schools have the flexibility to let interested and enthusiastic
students either choose a specific category of the RUN or participate
across all categories.
In cities with multiple DAV schools, schools are encouraged to
collaborate and jointly organize the event for its smooth and
successful execution.
Please note that schools must organize the
Run for DAV event only after making adequate arrangements
and securing the necessary permissions from the local authorities.
In the absence of such permission, the event should not be conducted.
After the event, certificates for all participating students can be
downloaded from the web portal, provided the school has registered
its students through the portal in advance at
davsports.in

The winners may also be awarded the prizes/trophies by the school(s)
to which they belong.
RUN for DAV
— a spirited Gandhi Jayanti tribute that turns Gandhi’s message of
health, unity, and service into action, inspiring fitness,
responsibility, and National pride.
